This
class is designed for toddlers. Children participate in class accompanied
by one parent. It is a 45-minute class offered once a week, at TAC,
walking to 2 year old classes and 2 to 3 year old classes are 30 minutes.
Classes at ISSH and NIS, a maximum of 35 students are taught by four
to five instructors. At TAC, a maximum of 12 students (due to the room
size). Children go through a brief warm-up exercise to music. The instructor
demonstrates the exercises in front of the class and the parents assist
their children. We have tumbling exercises where we teach basic skills
such as forward rolls, motor coordination skills, and stretching. Every
child does back handsprings with support by their parents. Other skills
are taught on the trampoline, bars, and beam. We often have an obstacle
course.
